Hello, i am coming to Tallinn, for few days, and i am wonderig, where i can find shops who sell japanese stuff (not only manga and anime)?
Maybe i am breking some forum rules right now, but it would be nice to know, if there are any shops i should go to .
I can't understand estonian, so i can't read messages to find out .
Adresses please.
It would be nice if someone could help me |

The Apollo bookstore (link; address: Viru 23, Tallinn; open: Mon - Fri 10-20, Sat 10-19, Sun 10-17) has a small, yet varied selection of manga on sale. As for anime, there are a few DVDs (mainly Studio Ghibli stuff) available at general outlets, but no specialised stores.
What do you mean by 'Japanese stuff'? Some food items are available at the better department stores (especially Stockmann; link; address: Liivalaia 53). Other than that, I have no idea. _________________ Vabarnamees: nagu lendav tigu * ~animeloend~ |

Thanks for your advise .
I ment everything like, imported stuff from japan or furnishings, or something
I know there's a nice shop in Finland, they have imported japanese food's and things like that (manga in japanese!).
It's called Tokyokan, in Helsinki, Annankatu 20.
If you happen to go to Finland, that's a place to go .
But im not going to Helsinki, im gonna explore Tallinn now
If you know some places outside Tallinn, you can tell me, but im not sure do i have time to go there . |

Yup, as Vabarna said. These and nothing more, i'm afraid. Japanese culture and stuff really isn't a big hit in Estonia... yet.
Also, recently there was open a shop selling Japanese streetwear named Onitsuka Tiger, but i have no idea whatsoever where it is. Somewhere in Tallinn, I presume. Anyone else does perhaps? Though i'd prolly check Kaubamaja or Stockmann. _________________ Roses are red

The shop that sells Onitsuka Tiger streetwear is Motel Paradise.
I have also heard that there are some Japanese style things on sale in Hoochi Mama shop, but I am not sure. _________________ />_<\ |

This probably flew right by you due to the insult, but... it's Tallinna Kaubamaja, not Tallinna kaubamaja. The big K marks it as an official name and thus no translation is needed since no one refers to it as Tallinn's department store or whatever.
p.s. you're, not your.
